VT Vacuum Heat Treaters provides commercial vacuum stress relieving to remove internal stresses caused by machining, welding, casting, or cold working. By heating components in a clean vacuum chamber down to 5 x 10⁻⁵ mBar, we relieve residual stress while preventing surface oxidation, scaling, and decarburization.

This process improves dimensional stability during subsequent machining or final heat treatment steps. All stress-relieving cycles comply with AMS 2750E temperature uniformity and ISO 9001 standards. We regularly process hot work tool steels (such as H13), cold work steels (such as D2), die casting blocks, and precision machined assemblies.
