Vacuum Hardening:

VT Vacuum Heat Treaters offers commercial vacuum hardening for high-performance metal components. Our high-vacuum furnaces reach operating temperatures up to 1200°C to 1300°C and maintain clean vacuum pressure down to 5 x 10⁻⁵ mBar. This process protects parts from surface oxidation, scaling, and decarburization, giving you clean parts with minimal shape distortion.

We use high-pressure gas quenching up to 12 Bar using controlled Nitrogen and Argon gas systems. All temperature sensors and furnace uniformity meet AMS 2750E and ISO 9001 standards. We regularly process hot work tool steels (like H13), cold work steels (like D2), high-speed steels (like M2), and martensitic stainless steels. Our technical team is available to discuss your hardness targets, material grades, and heat treatment needs.
